Jim Miller

Jim Miller is the Director of Community Outreach at Best Placed Media and serves as point man for the company.  Miller and his team are responsible for the initial contact and introduction by Best Placed Media to each High School and HOA that we serve.  Miller has a background in outside sales, marketing and engineered manufacturing.  A natural leader, Jim was the president of his UCLA fraternity, Sigma Nu and also served as the student body president of his high school.  A native of Long Beach, CA, Jim played Pop Warner football with Publisher Brad Lane.  Lane and Miller were also teammates at Wilson High School.  Miller’s grandfather, Roy “Dutch” Miller was a pioneer Lifeguard that is responsible for many of the life-saving techniques in use today.  Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from UCLA, where his wife April is also a graduate.  Jim has one adult son, Cade.

Jim’s grandfather, Roy “Dutch” Miller, was a pioneer in lifeguarding and is responsible for innovating many of the water based life-saving techniques used today.
